We have a very friendly and active Women’s section at Woodford Golf Club.

If you have played any golf before or are a complete novice the best place to be is Woodford Golf Club.

Come along and have fun with women just like you, learn the game together and enjoy the social side of meeting up.

Golf is great for keeping you in shape and for your mental wellbeing.

The women’s section play on Tuesdays before having lunch together and most meet up again on Thursday mornings for a more casual round before lunch.

Group lessons and individual lessons with our Golf Pro available to enable you to learn at your own pace. These will take place on Thursday mornings.

The Woodford Women’s section ran a very successful recruitment campaign in 2021 with a large number of women joining the club. We have decided to run the campaign again to build a larger, stronger section.

We will be holding an open evening to offer more information and for you to meet some of the team on Thursday, 16th March 2023 at 6pm at Woodford Golf Club, 2 Sunset Avenue, Woodford Green, IG8 0ST.

We will then be holding golf taster sessions on Thursday, 30th March in the morning.
